Salmonstock is a music and art festival with multiple stages featuring top Alaskan, Northwestern and national musical artists. Visual art by master artists in residence is showcased throughout the festival on both the stage and buildings.

The festival also highlights the best of Alaska with an elite roster of local restaurant booths exhibiting their individual prowess in preparing Alaskan cuisine. The extensive beer garden offers tasty Alaskan brews from across the state. Also featured are Alaskan arts and crafts from local merchants.

Salmonstock is proud to be an educational event with both an Awareness Center and an Action Center to provide Salmonstockers with the knowledge and resources necessary to make their own positive impact on wild salmon habitat in Alaska. Salmonstock is a celebration of Wild Alaskan Salmon and the people who depend upon them. It’s also about the power we have to protect our resources and our livelihoods. Stand up and join the over 3,000 attendees from 2011 in our fight to protect the wild salmon that bring us together and define our lifestyle.

Held at the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds, Salmonstock blends a small-town country fair atmosphere with the amenities of an established music festival, and the backdrop of beautiful Alaskan scenery. With multiple stages, the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds located in Ninilchik, Alaska is the perfect location for a truely Alaskan festival.

Ninilchik is a small fishing town located on the Kenai Peninsula. A gorgeous 3.5 hour drive from Anchorage, it is home to both commercial and sport fishing businesses, as well as a beautiful and historic Russian Orthodox Church, and a group of worldfamous racing pigs. Located on the water with views of an active volcano range, on a clear day you can see the stunning Mt. Augustine, Mt. Iliamna, Mt. Redoubt, and Mt. Spur across Cook Inlet.
